The Role
Many of the organisations strategic goals for 2025 rely on the quality and integrity of their data, so they are looking for a Database Assistant who can help them achieve their targets.
You’ll be responsible for:
Database administration and maintenance
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the database through regular data cleansing, record merging, and deduplication, maintaining compliance with GDPR requirements.
• Keep the database up-to-date, importing and exporting information.
• Review discrepancies within the database and make necessary changes
Leads lists
• Generation of leads is an extremely important part of the service offered to clients. You’ll be responsible for:
• Creating the leads lists through cleaning and formatting user data in excel, ensuring that it matches in house specifications and client requirements.
Data imports
• Handle daily, weekly and monthly data files from different sources, cleaning and importing them into the database using MS Excel.
• Have responsibility for maintaining and updating the data imports schedule,
organising cover when required.
• Liaise with colleagues to identify, develop and improve processes to ensure that high standards of data capture are maintained.
Reports and data export
• Support the client success, marketing and business teams to achieve their objectives by providing reports and analysis.
• Create data selections for the marketing teams for mailings to users
• Filter data for segmentation purposes, including analysis and preparation of campaigns and mailshots.
Working across the team
• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day data related queries.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and help them resolve data issues and requests.
The Candidate
To be successful in the role of Data Administrator you demonstrate:
• Interest in working with data/spreadsheets
• Ability to learn new technical skills quickly
• Good numeracy and logical problem solving
• Able to work with meticulous attention to detail whilst managing a large volume of work
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Good standard of written English
• Preferably experience of working with data sets, either in a CRM system or Excel-based system
• Intermediate Excel skills (eg, VLOOKUPs).
Terms
• The role is offered on a part-time, fixed term basis (3 months)
• A salary of up to £26k fte* is on offer
• The role is seeking 30 hrs/wk (however open to anything from 18.5 hour per week, through to full time)
• Days worked must include Tue, Wed, Thu or can be worked across 5 days.
• There is flexibility around how the hours are worked including a few hours some evenings (desirable not essential).
• The role can be worked fully remotely or hybrid in the offices in Southwark.
• Initial training will require the successful candidate to attend the office 1 day per week for the first 4 weeks.

• Holiday is 25 days plus bank holidays (per annum, FTE) plus a day for each year of service.
