Overview
This company is one of the largest independent chartered accountancy groups in the West of England. They fully support flexible working, with many of their employees working in flexible patterns across the week. They welcome applications from people who are returning to work after a break from accountancy practice, and those from industry who can demonstrate an ability to juggle multiple clients and work within a ‘time-recording’ environment. 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
To provide a comprehensive, customer focused client service for a range of accounting and auditing activities.
Analysing, interpreting and auditing the range of data supplied by clients, checking for any missing information and conducting detailed investigations
Producing draft year end and management accounts with clear neat working papers to reflect the accounts produced and ensuring clear cross-referencing 
Completing basic tax computations 
Completing detailed schedules for each set of accounts 
Produce accounts/tables/schedules/letter to expected standards using Word, IRIS, and Excel 
Providing coaching, feedback and support to junior members of the team when out on audit. 

Minimum Candidate Requirements
Essential 
Qualified/part qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience.
Acting as an audit senior
Preparation of statutory accounts
Desirable 
Dealing with owner managed businesses. 
Experience of charity or pension audits 
Managing junior staff while out on audit. 
Preparation of corporation tax computations.
Mobility across the practice offices and client sites.

Hours
This is a permanent position, ideally full-time but open to some flexibility. 

Location –Based in the Swindon office however the role will be responsible for dealing with clients across the region and therefore visits to the other offices and client premises will be required most weeks
