The Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join their friendly and supportive team. This role is ideal for someone with practice experience, either qualified or qualified by experience, who thrives in a dynamic small business environment.
• Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage tax returns for both small companies and individuals.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll tasks.
• Support and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Contribute to our strategic planning and have a real impact on the firm’s growth.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be proficient in producing statutory accounts and managing tax returns for small companies, as well as handling personal tax returns.
• ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in financial accounting within a practice environment.
• Ideally proficient in TaxCalc and QuickBooks software.
• Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll processes.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
The Terms
This new role is being offered on a part time basis of 20 to 25 hours per week, with flexibility on the pattern worked. A salary of up to £45K FTE is being offered with the future potential of bonus payments.
