The Client
Established in the UK in 2000, but originally developed in California, USA, our client designs and manufactures a range of PH, DO and Redox sensors for the industrial process control sector. Distributing a range of innovative products, from renowned companies who are leaders in their specialised field.
The Role
They are now looking for an experienced QMS Administrator to ensure the Quality Management System processes are established, implemented and maintained.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement and maintain the company’s quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Perform regular audits of processes, products and services to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation such as procedures, work instruction and quality records to support the QMS.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to senior management, highlighting trends, risk and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints related to quality, documenting issues and taking actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage the internal audit, KPI Metrics and annual recertification with LRQA.
- Consistently identify areas of improvement, supporting the team to overcome any obstacles.
The Candidate
- Previous experience within a compliance or quality assurance role.
- Experience and understanding of ISO 9001
- Background and experience of ‘top down Quality Management’
- Positive can-do personality with a willingness to learn and develop their skills
The Terms
This a part-time role, working around 3 days (24 hrs) per week on a flexible and hybrid basis at their beautiful office in Silsoe. This is a rural location so a car will be beneficial for access. A salary of between £30-40k FTE is on offer, dependent on your experience, along with some additional benefits including a competitive pension.
