Our Client
Our client is a Chartered Accountancy practice with 34 years of experience, helping businesses with every aspect of their financial well-being. They combine their expertise as Chartered Accountants with a deep understanding of running owner-managed companies. The Role
As a key member of the friendly accountancy team, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients and deliver a wide range of services:
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Producing personal tax returns and VAT returns
- Liaising with clients to provide advice and support
- Using accounting software such as Engager, Xero, and TaxCalc
The client has a separate payroll department and do not carry out audits, so you will be free to focus on client accounts and tax work.
The Candidate
- Qualified by experience, or qualified accepted
- Confident in managing your own portfolio of clients
- Strong technical skills in accounts and tax preparation
- Proactive, organised, and able to build positive client relationships
- (Optional but useful) Experience in CIS returns, P11Ds and bookkeeping
Salary & Benefits
- Salary of up to £38,500 depending on qualifications and experience
- Working hours 8.30am-4.30pm
- Flexible working – office based to start, then hybrid options
