Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Audit Senior to join their expanding audit team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, client-facing audit role offering real variety and responsibility. You’ll lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, while building strong relationships and supporting junior team members.
The role is available on a part-time basis (from 22 hrs per week) or full time, with hybrid working and flexibility around hours and location.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, with manager/partner support
- Developing a strong understanding of each client’s business and risk profile
- Identifying and assessing audit risks and ensuring appropriate audit responses
- Reviewing audit work and supporting the development of junior team members
- Ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements
You’ll work with a varied client base including owner-managed businesses, charities, and organisations across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality.
About You
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within an audit and accounts practice environment
- Confident leading audit assignments and working directly with clients
- Strong understanding of audit standards, quality and regulatory requirements
- Organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple deadlines
- A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting and developing others
- Committed to continuous professional development
