Job Description

Part-time Customer Care Coordinator, High Wycombe, 16 hours per week, £12,950pa, (£15.52 per hour)

Looking for a varied part-time role where no two days are the same?

Our client is a well-established and innovative manufacturing business that works with customers across a range of specialist industries. They're now looking for a highly organised Customer Care Coordinator to join their friendly, close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining customer service with administration and thrives in a busy environment where attention to detail really matters. Working closely with colleagues across customer care, production, logistics and the warehouse, you'll play a key role in ensuring orders progress smoothly and customers receive an excellent service.

The Role

This is a broad and varied position, offering plenty of opportunity to become an integral part of the business. Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting customers with enquiries and providing excellent day-to-day service
  • Processing customer orders and preparing production works orders
  • Assisting with production planning and helping coordinate workflow
  • Creating invoices, credit notes and shipping documentation
  • Liaising with customers regarding collections and order progress
  • Setting up new customer accounts and products within the company's systems (Lakeview MRP)
  • Processing new product introductions (NPI)
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and responding promptly to customer requests
  • Updating reports and performance data using Excel
  • Supporting quality processes, internal audits and general office administration
  • Providing holiday cover and assisting the wider team as required

About You

You'll be an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working with both people and processes. You'll be comfortable juggling priorities, spotting the finer details and building positive relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales support or administration role
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • A positive, friendly and adaptable approach
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience using MRP, CRM or similar business systems
  • Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to prioritise a varied workload and work accurately under pressure

Experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.

What's on Offer?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive business that genuinely values its people and offers excellent work-life balance.

Benefits include:

  • 16 hours per week across four days (Monday-Thursday, 10.00am-2.00pm)
  • Four-day working week
  • Office based in High Wycombe
  • Annual bonus scheme (subject to company and individual performance)
  • Pension with employer contributions
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • 24 days holiday (rising to 26 following 2 years’ service) paid holiday including bank holidays

Interested?

If you're looking for a varied part-time role where you can make a real difference within a friendly and supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
