Our Client

Our client is a leading global consultancy specialising in psychological health and well-being, with a particular focus on trauma and critical incident care. They provide expert services to organisations across the world, helping them build resilient teams and maintain a psychologically healthy workplace. Their mission is to make a meaningful impact by offering practical, compassionate support in times of crisis, while promoting long-term well-being and mental health strategies.

They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their friendly team for 10 hours each month.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, the role of BD Manager will play a key role in driving growth and expanding the organisations’ global reach.  Responsibilities will cover:

Business Growth and Strategy:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
  • Drive growth by researching and prospecting potential clients within key sectors such as healthcare, corporate, governmental, and non-profit organisations.
  • Create and implement strategic plans to expand service offerings and secure new contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align business development strategies with the company’s goals and values.

Client Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Provide high-quality consultative sales support, demonstrating the unique value of our psychological well-being and trauma services.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery and ongoing relationship management.

    Well-being and Psychological Support Expertise:

  • Leverage your experience in well-being, psychological support, and trauma care to engage with clients and effectively communicate the value of the services.
  • Be a thought leader in the psychological health and well-being space, contributing insights to both internal teams and clients.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, best practices, and developments in the mental health and trauma support sectors.

Sales and Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials, proposals, and presentations tailored to specific client needs.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs, tracking progress and adapting strategies to ensure continued success.

Mission-Driven Impact:

  • Contribute to the organisations’ mission by identifying opportunities where we can make a positive, lasting impact on organisational well-being, mental health, and trauma response.
  • Be a passionate advocate for psychological support services that help organisations and individuals navigate challenging, high-stress environments.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on building strong, lasting relationships with clients, identifies new business opportunities, and is dedicated to promoting the value of psychological support and well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the well-being, healthcare, or psychological support sectors.
  • Proven experience in selling services or solutions related to trauma, crisis management, mental health, or well-being.
  • Strong understanding of psychological health, well-being strategies, and critical incident care.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers in global organisations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • A deep passion for contributing to mental health and well-being initiatives, with an understanding of the impact of trauma in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global, remote team.

    Preferred Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in the global mental health or trauma management sectors is a plus.

Terms

  • The role is seeking 10 hours per month worked flexibly in a pattern to suit both parties.
  • The role is offered on an interim basis, through Ten2Two, paid at £35 per hour.
