Our client is an established and highly specialist design and build business based in Stroud.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone who wants to make a strategic impact while maintaining flexibility.
Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
• Provide high-level financial insight to support decision-making
• Oversee cash flow, compliance, and reporting
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and HMRC
• Support funding, investment, and growth initiatives
The Candidate
• Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar senior finance role
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong strategic, commercial, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
The Terms
This role is being offered on a part time basis and can be worked flexibly, requiring around 2 days per week. The client is open to paying up to £50 per hour, depending on experience. The business is based in Stroud and this position will need to have an office presence, however there may be some remote working available for the right candidate.
