Our Client
Our client is a long-established charitable foundation that creates and publishes books and resources to support the Catholic and wider Christian community. With a strong heritage and a small, collaborative team, they combine mission-driven values with professional publishing expertise. They’re currently seeking urgent temporary support within their finance team, based at their offices near Alton, Hampshire.
The Role
This is a broad bookkeeping role supporting the team with day-to-day financial operations using Sage 200. Key responsibilities include:
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Transactional finance support
- Invoice processing and supplier payments
- Managing expenses and responding to supplier queries
- Support with VAT (desirable but not essential)
Skills & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 200 is essential
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping or finance support role
Terms
- Temporary position via Ten2Two
- Urgent start – ideally immediate or within days
- Minimum 3 days/week, up to full-time (5 days/week)
- Office-based in rural Hampshire (near Alton)
- £18/hour (equivalent to c.£35k fte*)
