Our client is an innovative, technology-focused company based in St Albans.
The Role
This is a new position within a growing business. The key responsibilities will include;
• Ensuring the smooth running of the St Albans and Aldermaston offices and fleet
• Supporting with internal communications and organisation of staff events
• Assisting the board members where needed
• Assisting with Sustainability initiatives
• Providing administrative support to the running of the HR and Finance Functions where needed
• Ensuring that all office supplies and services are maintained at the appropriate level
• Managing the relationship with the cleaners and other suppliers of office services
• Management of the vehicle fleet - Servicing, MOT's, breakdown cover, fuel cards
• Assisting the board with internal communications strategy
• Assisting the board with planning and organisation of staff events
• Assisting the board with arrangement of meetings, accommodation, travel and conferences
• Ensuring that all HR requirements are met, including training, approval of documents and periodic reviews
• Providing support for the Finance function, including raising invoices and purchase orders, preparing payment runs and reconciling the bank accounts
• Assisting with carbon baselining, reduction plan and sustainability activities
The Candidate
• Experience of either Office Management or HR Essential
• Excellent Organisational Skills
• Experience and competence of MS Office
• Self-starter who is keen to have a real impact on a company
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong values and passion for sustainability
The Terms
This position requires a presence in the office across 5 days, with a total of 20 hours being worked across the week. A salary of circa £37,500 FTE* is available for the right candidate and the company offer benefits including;
