Job Description

Are you a natural relationship builder with excellent organisational skills and a passion for helping customers? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative, growing EdTech business in a highly flexible role combining customer success, account support and administration.

Whether your background is in SaaS customer success, account management, customer service or education, we'd love to hear from you!

Our Client

Our client is an established and growing education technology business, founded by experienced teachers with a mission to transform how schools use data to support student progress.

Their innovative online platform helps teachers and school leaders track performance, analyse results and make informed decisions, ultimately improving outcomes for students.

With a strong customer focus and a collaborative, supportive team, they are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to help deliver an excellent experience for their customers.

The Role

Working closely with the customer support team, you'll play an important part in building positive relationships with schools, responding to enquiries and ensuring customers get the most from the platform.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer interaction with the administration and organisation needed to keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Acting as a friendly and helpful point of contact for customers, responding to enquiries and resolving issues.
  • Supporting new customers with onboarding and getting started with the platform.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
  • Helping customers understand and make the most of the platform's features.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, updating CRM systems and managing associated administration.
  • Coordinating customer communications, follow-ups and support activities.
  • Liaising with colleagues across the business to ensure customer queries are dealt with efficiently.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

The Candidate

Our client is open-minded about background and experience. What matters most is finding someone who is personable, highly organised, comfortable with technology and genuinely enjoys helping people.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in customer success, account management, customer support or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence using technology, CRM systems and online platforms, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.

Experience within a SaaS business or the education sector would be particularly welcome, but is not essential. This role could also suit a former teacher or education professional looking to transfer their communication, organisational and relationship-building skills into a commercial environment.

The Terms

Our client is offering exceptional flexibility and is happy to consider different working arrangements to secure the right person.

  • Hours: min 2 days per week but any hours will be considered, up to 5 days per week, with flexibility around the working pattern.
  • Location: Predominantly remote, with a preference for occasional visits to the Brighton office. This could be as little as once per month.
  • Pay: £16–£18 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Contract: Temporary assignment, employed and paid through Ten2Two payroll.

This is a great opportunity to join a purpose-driven business where your contribution will make a genuine difference to customers, while enjoying a working arrangement that fits around your other commitments.
