Our client is an exciting new start-up in the pet care industry, preparing to launch a line of premium, eco-conscious grooming products. As they grow, they’re looking for someone proactive and reliable who can bring energy and structure to both their marketing and operations.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role that blends marketing execution with business support. You'll report directly to the founder and play a key role in driving brand awareness while keeping the day-to-day admin running smoothly. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is highly organised, and is confident juggling multiple responsibilities.
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Manage social media platforms and create engaging content
- Set up and manage email marketing campaigns
- Support brand development and ensure visual consistency
- Conduct basic SEO and keyword research
- Upload and manage content across digital channels (e.g. Shopify, Instagram)
- Assist with campaign planning, copywriting and reporting
Admin & Business Support:
- Organise digital files and folders
- Proofread and edit documents and web copy
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and take notes
- Use Monday.com to track tasks and support project planning
- Write and send professional correspondence
- Provide general operational support to the founder
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in marketing, ideally in a start-up, SME or FMCG/CPG brand
- Confident using social media and email marketing tools
- Exceptionally organised and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
Terms
- Part-time role:c10 hours per week ( ideally 15 hrs/week for the first couple of months)
- Temp-to-perm contract (initially payrolled via Ten2Two) with potential to convert to permanent.
- Mainly remote, with occasional in-person (if location permits)
- Flexible working hours to suit your schedule
- Salary up to £44k fte* (£22.50hr) depending on experience
