Our Client
Our Client is the product of an obsession with fixing the fundamental structural problems in money markets. Their fascination with the sector began painfully, during the Global Financial Crisis of 2008, where they had a front-row seat to watch the evaporation of liquidity in fixed income and the near collapse of the entire short-dated funding markets.
They have been on a mission to help deliver more sustainable solutions for the money markets ever since, and launched in 2018 to offer institutional clients a single gateway to the broadest range of the best risk-adjusted cash investment options.
The Role
You will have the opportunity to be part of a fun, dynamic and growing team. The operations team is the glue that sits at the intersection between product, payments, trading, technology, legal and client onboarding. You will have an opportunity to make a real difference as our client rapidly scale, both in their existing markets and new markets.
● Work closely with a small, dynamic and growing team
● Assist with all aspects of the Fixed Term Fund issuance process
● Liaise with our fund administrator and other service providers
● Monitor trade entry, payments and settlement
● KPI monitoring and reporting
● Be involved in project work related to streamlining business-as-usual and new products
The Candidate
You will have functional knowledge of accountancy concepts and be comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets. You will come armed with experience working in, or at very least, a desire to learn and an interest in financial markets, along with a high attention to detail. Enthusiasm and solid work ethic, along with good interpersonal skills & humour are essential.
The Terms
This role is being offered on a part, up to full time basis with a minimum of 28 hours per week, ideally over 5 days.
You will be primarily remote based, however access to London regularly would be beneficial.
Our client is open to considering a salary of Circa £50K FTE* and have a range of attractive benefits, including Equity and quarterly bonus scheme, Unlimited Paid Leave and a Remote Office set-up budget.
*Full time equivalent – actual salary will depend on hours worked
