The Role
You’ll be responsible for a broad mix of sales admin, finance support and operational tasks that are key to keeping the business running smoothly.
Your role will include:
- Supporting the Sales team with contracts, invoicing, CRM updates, and customer onboarding
- Maintaining accurate license records and managing renewals
- Managing accounts payable/receivable and keeping Xero fully reconciled
- Overseeing payroll, HMRC submissions, and staff holiday/sickness records
- Supporting HR and sales commission admin
- Ensuring strong internal communication and first-class customer experience
This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to someone who is confident working independently, enjoys process improvement, and is comfortable handling numbers, systems, and client communication. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director and be part of a small, professional and friendly team.
The Candidate
You’ll be a highly organised, resourceful individual who enjoys having ownership over your work. A great fit for someone looking for a long-term, stable part-time opportunity in a tech-led business.
You should have:
- Previous experience in business operations, finance admin or similar
- Strong attention to detail and a logical, process-driven approach
- Confident use of platforms like Xero and Salesforce (or similar CRM and finance tools)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Great communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Bonus points for experience in tech, SaaS, or a financial/contractual environment
Terms
- Part-time: 20 hrs/week ideally across 5 days (ideally 10am–2pm, but flexible)
- Salary: £36,000 FTE (e.g. £19,200 for 20 hrs/week)
- Bonus: Up to £5k discretionary annual performance bonus (non-prorated)
- Benefits: Private medical and dental cover (after 3 months), share option scheme (after 6 months), and holiday entitlement pro-rata
- Location: Fully remote. Ideally based in the South East of England for occasional in-person meetings (Commercial Director is in Sevenoaks)
