Our client is a successful and growing provider of global investment representation and stewardship services.
The Role
Our client is looking for a self managed and highly autonomous Lawyer who can take on first level filtering and assessment of emails, and deal with documents, queries and tasks.
This position will report to the founder of the business acting as the first line of defence and support him with a range of legal tasks including:
- Responding to emails
- Responding to general enquiries (eg KYC)
- Reviewing and amending documents
- Organising signature of documents
- Reviewing payment requests
- Reviewing regulatory filings
- Tracking client compliance (eg corporate calendar)
- Following up after board meetings (minutes, etc)
The Candidate
You will be a qualified Lawyer, with experienced gained ideally within corporate, banking, investment funds or financial services.
You will be self-managed and thrive on autonomy.
Highly skilled in communication, written and verbal, and exceptionally organised.
You will be comfortable with legal and financial documentation.
The Terms
This position will be managed as a temp through Ten2Two or a consultancy agreement directly with the client, depending on the successful candidate's preference. Either option will equate to a ‘salary’ of up to £100k FTE (there is opportunity for discussion and negotiation on this depending on skills and experience).
The role will require a flexible approach from the candidate with a daily (or twice daily) check in and then the hours worked will depend on the demand that day; a huge amount of flexibility and autonomy with a results/output driven approach.
There is an expectation that the number of hours per week, and over time, may fluctuate.
