The Role
Working in a brand-new, purpose-built laboratory, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards. While some tasks are routine, you’ll also get involved in supporting product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing quality control (QC) testing on manufactured products
- Supporting product investigations and customer feedback processes
- Assisting with calibration of laboratory equipment and maintaining quality standards
- Helping to evaluate raw materials and support product development
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised laboratory environment
- Ensuring tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time
- Occasionally joining site visits as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has experience in a quality control or materials laboratory setting. You’ll be thorough, methodical and comfortable following established processes, but also open to learning and contributing new ideas.
You’ll bring:
- Several years’ laboratory experience in a materials field or similar discipline
- Ideally, A-levels in chemistry, physics, or equivalent
- Sound technical aptitude and analytical skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working independently as well as part of a team
- Computer literacy plus clear written and verbal communication
- A full driving licence
