The Role

Working in a brand-new, purpose-built laboratory, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards. While some tasks are routine, you’ll also get involved in supporting product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing quality control (QC) testing on manufactured products
  • Supporting product investigations and customer feedback processes
  • Assisting with calibration of laboratory equipment and maintaining quality standards
  • Helping to evaluate raw materials and support product development
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised laboratory environment
  • Ensuring tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time
  • Occasionally joining site visits as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has experience in a quality control or materials laboratory setting. You’ll be thorough, methodical and comfortable following established processes, but also open to learning and contributing new ideas.

You’ll bring:

  • Several years’ laboratory experience in a materials field or similar discipline
  • Ideally, A-levels in chemistry, physics, or equivalent
  • Sound technical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working independently as well as part of a team
  • Computer literacy plus clear written and verbal communication
  • A full driving licence
