The Role
This role is a new position within a small finance function and will require a candidate with a proactive and hands on approach. Duties will include, however are not limited to:
• Oversee payroll, pension & expenses (UK & International)
• Financial forecasting
• Support with financial strategy
• Support with financial information relating to fundraising
• Producing management accounts
• Supplier invoices processing
• Client invoice processing and follow up
• Bank reconciliation
• VAT Returns
• Liaising with external accountants and auditors
The Candidate
You will be able to demonstrate a successful ability to manage a growing business’ accounts effectively through these skills.
Having a strong technical ability and approach
• Hold a finance related qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Understand the importance of paying attention to the details
• Take responsibility for their actions
• Have the ability to deal with individuals representing the top tier investment
• banks and other financial institutions
• Be a great team player
• Have an entrepreneurial attitude - grow along with the business
• Experience with Xero would be beneficial, however not essential
The Terms
This is a new role which is initially two and a half days, the role can be entirely remote. The position is being offered on a temp to perm, or initially fixed term basis, however there is the intention for the role to become permanent if possible.
