Job Description

Are you an experienced senior fundraiser with a successful track record of achieving targets? A confident self-starter, you will be involved in a wide variety of areas, increasing and encouraging a regular income stream for this fantastic charity.

Our Client 
Our client is an established and respected charity which services the local people of Hemel Hempstead and beyond, tackling and providing practical support.

The Role
Our client is seeking a fundraiser who will develop the income stream, increasing sustainable income for the charity with their ambitious growth plans in mind. Building strong and influential external relationships which delivering a first-class experience both existing and new partners to secure ongoing regular income and long-term support.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop the partnership programme to deliver an engaging and mutually beneficial programme of activity and network of partners to encourage and inspire support.
- Represent the charity at local and regional events, groups and forums, proactively building new relationships and generating fundraising opportunities.
- Research and network, making connections with business influencers, to secure long-term, high value mutual partnerships.
- Research and identify new potential partnerships through consistent and ongoing engagement (cold calls/mailing/networking).
- Maximise value from corporate support and develop new areas leading to growth in income i.e. Payroll Giving, Charity of the Year, Gift in Kind, Sponsorship.
- Deliver presentations and tours, sharing key information to potential and existing business contacts.
- Create and deliver proposals
- Organise and deliver a series of business events

Internal Relations 
Work with the Senior Management Team define funding priorities
Produce regular pipeline reports, dashboards, and updates to Head of Fundraising.
Work closely with the Fundraising Coordinator to ensure corporate activities and campaigns receive appropriate support and resource.
Liaise with the Communications Lead to promote corporate activity on digital media, e-communications, and online platforms.
Work collaboratively across the organisation, building relationships with colleagues to ensure support for corporate activities and identify and maximise opportunities.

This role requires regular travel to meetings, networking events and partner sites; therefore, a full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.

The Candidate
- Successful track record of securing high value donations, sponsorship or partnership agreements within a Corporate Fundraising or sales environment. 
- A confident self-starter, able to demonstrate a successful record of networking and building relationships and the gravitas to drive maximum impact, add value and increase corporate income.
Essential
Knowledge of current trends and innovations in corporate fundraising including CSR.
Knowledge of Fundraising principals and the regulatory environment
Strong evidence of proposal development, prospecting, and effective stewardship of prospects
Experience of CRM systems
Comfort and experience public speaking
This role requires regular travel to meetings, networking events and partner sites; therefore, a full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.

The Terms 
This role is being offered on a part, or full time basis with a minimum of 30 hours required across the week. 
- £36,000 FTE* DOE
- Some hybrid working available
